Sun Microsystems and TCS presenting at Drupal Camp India

With 3 weeks remaining for India’s first and largest Drupal Camp to be held at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, some big companies are coming forward to share their knowledge about Drupal and Open Source in General. This week Sun Microsystems confirmed their sessions on Drupal – a) Netbeans Support for Drupal and b) Drupal on Solaris. Earlier TCS - India’s biggest Software Services company also came forward with a session on Open Source Student track. Gujarat’s local Fedora community is also pitching in with ElectroMech – a prominent name in RHCE training is also presenting at the event. Local Linux Community is now getting active in promoting the event.

Drupal is an award winning Open Source content management Framework. In North America, Drupal CMS has been creating waves amongst Web 2.0 startups as well as it has already started penetrating and taking solid footing in large Enterprises.

Enterprises like NASA, IBM, Sun, BBC, MTV, Yahoo, Sony, Warner Brother Records, Nike, Fedex to name a few are using Drupal.

IEEE Gujarat section and ITVidya are helping in marketing the event. Over 30 Drupal development companies along with many freelance developers and students from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand have already signed up for the event.
