The 1st ever Drupal Camp in India was organized at DAIICT, Gandhinagar from 8-9th August '08. Drupal Camp marked the beginning of uniting Drupal Community in India. Gandhinagar became the venue where Drupal Developers and Neophytes congregated to share, learn and collaborate about a technology called Drupal.

With 3 weeks remaining for India’s first and largest Drupal Camp to be held at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, some big companies are coming forward to share their knowledge about Drupal and Open Source in General. This week Sun Microsystems confirmed their sessions on Drupal – a) Netbeans Support for Drupal and b) Drupal on Solaris. Earlier TCS - India’s biggest Software Services company also came forward with a session on Open Source Student track. Drupal Camp Ahmedabad event team this week achieved a milestone of presenting the details about the event to 1000 university students over last month.

With today's seminar of OpenKick Technologies at Gujarat Law Society campus and with strong support from IEEE Gujarat Chapter and IT Vidya, it looks like the event is going to be a Full House.
