What about safety and security of this event?

With the recent developments how safe is it to visit Ahmedabad or Gujarat?

Do not worry on that. Recent activities is coward act of few people they look for market places and public places.

As far as I know the event is far from all traffic and market place. And since this is a private educational institute the security on the venue gate would restrict the entry to those who are registered or concerned after checking them throughly.

It would be a positive experience to be there.
