Drupal Seminar Held for U V Patel College of Engineering's students at Kherva, Mehsana

Openkick Technologies, training division of Gloscon Solutions, Inc. organized again an interactive seminar on Drupal for students of U V Patel College of Engineering, Kherva. This Seminar had organized with the help of the IEEE-UVPCE branch. More than 150 of third fifth and seven Semester Students from BE IT & Computer division participated & shared their views about Drupal in four hour of seminar. Gloscon Solutions has always believed in the power of sharing knowledge among the communities and by doing our bit we tried to contribute in our own way to the growth of this wonderful CMS - Drupal.

This seminar was mainly handled by Mr. Roshan Shah, CEO & Technical staff of Gloscon Solutions. Mr. Roshan Shah - a Certified Project Manager - is a Computer Engineering graduate with Advanced Diploma in Enterprise Management and Diploma in Business Finance, has significant experience in managing outsourcing of application development and technical support while building high performance software teams. Mr. Roshan started his presentation with today's "Hot" topics like Current Market Trend, recession, reducing workforce, Low Wedges in Information Technology. After presenting a "shocking" scenario in IT division, he proposed an ‘Open Source Technology' called Drupal to the Students. He presented uses, Advantages, Career benefits and future of Drupal and showed some big celebrities (Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears) and Companies(FedEx, Nasa, Nike, SUN, MTV,IBM) using Drupal Websites He gave an assurance to all students that with using Drupal(Open Source), Students get more advantages in their professional life than any other technologies. The technical team of the Gloscon Solutions gave a presentation on very useful topics like Drupal Installation, Implementation, Module integration, Drupal terminologies, Drupal Architecture, troubleshooting and different Drupal's features. The seminar provided the students an effective medium to know about this unique CMS that is getting a lot of attention around the world.

Apart from these topics, technical Team of Gloscon Solutions presented a live demo on how a person can easily make a website in a matter of minutes. Along with this, the Technical Team cleared all queries and doubts about Drupal.

This seminar was booked well in advance and we are certainly seeing lot of interest from UVPCE based IT Graduates & Post Graduates to learn Drupal. The event was well received and many participants requested Gloscon Solutions for organizing more workshops and Seminars on Drupal.
